Hi there! I’m Chidi Obiajulu. I started my career as a Mathematics teacher in the School District of Philadelphia. Pivoted into Tech starting as a Software Engineer and later a Data Scientist. Worked my way up the corporate ladder from being a Manager at Bristol Myers Squibs to Director. I moved on to become the Head of Data Products at OptimizeRX Nasdaq OPRX.
My true financial freedom came when I bought my first business – a 20yr old causal fast restaurant from a 65yr old Korean who was just ready to retire. The business was generating over $500k per year in revenue, and I bought it for next to nothing. I didn’t have any food or restaurant experience, and I didn’t need one.
The first month I took over management, I made $45k in sales, with me doing nothing. From then on, I quit my high paying 9-5 job and have gone ahead to acquire similar businesses now generating seven figures in revenue.
